Our second day as a family

We're learning so much about Lindsey. We can't believe how much we've all learned in the past day. For one, she is much more independent than we thought. She can eat all on her own. She can also wipe her nose if you give her a Kleenex. She let's us know when she can do something on her own. It seems like she is opening up to us more and more each hour.

Good thing we learned the little Chinese we did too. She says words in Chinese, and we don't know what she's saying. Sometimes she whispers too. She's such a sweetie. She takes a lot of time to during meals and if she's not ready to go, she let's us all know.

She's really is warming up to Chris today too. Yesterday she didn't want anything to do with him, but we could tell she was intrigued. She'd give him a little look out of the corner of her eye like she wanted to like him, but she was just not sure. Fast forward a day, and she is feeding him, and sharing her toys with him. She is very close to her mommy. She's very much like her mom, both are Aries for sure!

Today we finalized the Chinese part of the adoption. In the eyes of the Chinese government, she is our daughter, and in our eyes she is most certainly our daughter! We couldn't be happier.
