We'll be heading to the airport tomorrow morning about 6:00am. Our flight is at 8:30. Then off to Chicago and from Chicago directly to Beijing. We are scheduled to arrive in Beijing on Sunday afternoon at about 4:05pm. What time will it be here when we arrive?? It will be approximately 3:00am on Saturday night. China is 13 hours ahead of us, so when we receive Lindsey on Wednesday, it will be Tuesday evening here. So if all our plans work out, and the laptop is working at the hotel, you should be able to see our Gotcha Day the first thing on Wednesday morning and pictures of us together as a family!
Today the City of Middletown had a wonderful party for us. There was a cake with a picture of Lindsey on it!! If you are reading this, and you're from the City of Middletown, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Everyone has been so supportive, and we also want to thank our friends at the Regional Water Authority for their generosity too!!! We are very lucky to have such supportive friends!
We are so excited, we will not be able to sleep tonight I'm sure. Everything is all packed up, and we are ready to go!!! Goodbye USA...Hello China!
